Gimme That Title

Posted by: Janni Nell
Today I need your help. I’m close to completing my work in progress—the first book in a fun paranormal mystery series—but I’ve yet to decide on a title. Following is the back cover copy plus a list of possible titles. Let me know your favorite or feel free to suggest something else.

Here’s the back cover copy:

Vacations are a bitch. Or maybe it’s just me.

I’m Natasha Bolde, and honestly I’m no one special. Okay, I’ve solved a few mysteries, but I’ve always worked with my best friend and mentor, Saffire Baulsey. She passed recently, and now I’m taking what should’ve been her trip of a lifetime to Cornwall, Britain. It’s just like Saffire to choose a place that's chock-full of mysteries. There’s the amnesiac wife, who has an obsession with digging; the suspicious medium, who might actually be genuine; and Joe. He's not a mystery--he's just trying to hit on me. Oh, and did I mention the ghosts? For Pete’s sake! I’m supposed to be on vacation.

Suggested titles:

Dead Monk Walking
Pendragon’s Bones
Born to Be Bolde
Bolde to the Bone
Bolde & Baulsey
One Ghost Too Many

  1. Dead Monk Walking made me laugh and is the one I'm most likely to click on, but the "Bolde" one's have more series potential. Titles are tough! Good luck.

  2. Given the humorous voice, I like Bolde & Baulsey. However, you might combine them if you are planning a series. For example: Dead Monk Walking, a Bolde & Baulsey series. :) Any chance Saffire is a ghost that will help solve the mysteries?
